USA Swimming
Beginning our second season with a USA program, WCAC proudly sent a swimmer to Junior Olympics and Middle Atlantic Short Course Zone Meet in our inaugural season. We are continuing to grow this program and have two USA Certified Coaches, Brian Hecker and Shannon Rose.
Our USA program will be an additional $135.00 which includes the late winter swim fee. The late winter swim runs from early February to the week leading up to Junior Olympics in mid-March. Additionally there is a Middle Atlantic USA Swimming registration fee of $60.00.
We are planning to offer the opportunity to swim in one USA meet per month beginning in October and concluding with Junior Olympics in March. A list of the USA meets we will be sending a coach to will be posted in the coming weeks. Early registration for these meets is important as they close quickly particularly in the months of January and February. We will send the meet information out relatively early with a deadline for entry and payment. Payment will include a small coaching fee and entry fees per event.
The 2012 USA registration form is on our website under this tab. It must be completely filled out before October 15, 2011. When you registered your swimmer for our USA swim team the $60.00 fee was already paid. Please do not send payment with this form. Make arrangements for delivery of this form to Susan Sawyer at shuey31@gmail.com.
If your child has previously been or currently registered with another USA swim team and would like to swim for WCAC's USA team, please fill out the Transfer Form under this section. Contact Susan Sawyer at shuey31@gmail.com to make arrangements for the payment ($10 check made payable to MA Swimming) and form to be received.
