WCAC Scholarship Award
WCAC is very proud of our high school swimmers and as such has created a $500 scholarship to recognize the contributions of an outstanding student/athlete.
If you would like to be considered for the 2012 scholarship, please email an essay to Antoinette McFarland at awwsdarjmcfarland@mac.com by February 15, 2012
Consideration for the award is as follows:
A. $500.00 scholarship to a boy or girl or both, who meet the criteria set forth by the WCAC Board
B. Qualifications:
1) A boy or girl swimmer who has swam for three (3) or more of their four (4) years for Wissahickon High School.
2) A girl or boy swimmer who exemplify leadership, attitude and characteristics deserving of the award
3) The swimmer will be choosen by the WCAC Board with assistance from the WCAC coaching staff.
Additionally, we encourage our senior swimmers to submit an essay to the Suburban Aquatic League for its Senior Award. The same essay may be used for WCAC Senior Award entry. For more information on the SAL Senior Award, please visit www.suburbanaquatic.org
